Farewell to Fall
Grand Valley Fashion Club members bared the chilly weather in a final tribute to the season. The five-hour long, collaborative effort of styling, shooting and venturing into the ravines, wrapped up a successful, end of the semester photo shoot. FC members, Dai Phan and Meaw Srikeaw, brought a new flavor to the everyday Fall wear. Vibrant colors, mixed patterns and textures, lots of layers and cozy sweaters were all a part of the models’ vision prior to the shoot. With a little planning and the help of stylist, Jewell Gates, the clothing was pieced together from items in the model’s closets. Make-up artist, Gabrielle Marquard, complimented the bold colors in Meaw’s wardrobe with ruby red lips and a fierce smoky eye to complete the look. Freshman photographer, Nyasha Juta brilliantly captured each model in their own element. The natural capabilities of these individuals is remarkable. For a team of inexperienced fashionistas, all with similar passion, this shoot turned into something portfolio worthy.
